I Tried IPL for Hair Removal!

So I did a thing. I bought and received tonight one of those IPL for Hair Removal gadgets. It took about 10 minutes to do everything I wanted done. I cannot wait for my results!

I had spent a couple of weeks leading up to my purchase, exhausting everything from price, to size, to reviews. I looked through ads on Instagram, on Facebook, and Amazon. I tried one ad through Facebook, and unfortunately that transaction is being returned due to them never sending the product. Ugh! So, I just decided to go through Amazon as t felt a little safer, and the returns are fast should it not function correctly.

I was like a kid at Christmas! I ripped through the box, pulled off all the tape, and pulled everything out of their respective sleeves. Low and below, there was this pretty rose gold and white gadget that could possibly make my life a little easier! Mine came with protective eyewear, the power chord, and the unit. Nice and simple - gotta love that! I plugged it up after reading over the instructions. A little time needed to figure it all out, such as auto mode versus manual mode, and in ten to fifteen minutes, I was DONE! Truth be told, I forgot to wear the protective eyewear, however I was very safe in using it, and it is an extra precaution.

On my first couple of “flashes,” I was a little nervous. Excitement with a new toy quickly replaced the unknown. The light is very, very bright. A reminder tip: Do not ever look directly at the light, if you value your eyesight. You can hear the fan gently running, and the unit gets pretty warm. I only used level “1” this first time. I am fair skinned, and it recommends use first on the lowest setting, then working up to level five, or as high as you can.

This will take a few months until the “maintenance” phase, but as quick and easy as this is to use, I am up for the challenge! If you’re game, use my Affiliate Amazon link on my Blog for access. Sorry, I’ve Got to Call Them Out

Sorry everyone, I have got to call out a group and I hate to do it but it’s time —> “some” Medical Professionals. I really do love you all, and there are so many things we couldn’t survive as a community without you, but there is this one thing I see pop up. It’s apathy for the non-exciting sports injuries. Two weeks ago yesterday, our youngest who is a freshman, was playing his beloved football game at school. Towards the very end of the game during the 4th quarter, our son made a great tackle, but he also took a knee to the center of his chest. You know, of course it was just right where the shoulder pads didn’t cover: in the center. He shook it off until the end of the game (this kid will play through most anything!) We iced him down and watched him overnight and by the next day the very bottom area of his sternum was incredibly swollen; it looked like a tennis ball was under his skin! Silver Lining? Today You get a Clean Slate

Today my youngest son, Luke, and I went to the dentist for a routine cleaning.
